MAZ TOKYO

Original soundscapes composition and production for the 2 Michelin-Starred gastronomic concept Maz, created by Virgilio Martínez and directed by head chef Santiago Fernández, located in Tokyo, Japan.

Maz interprets the Peruvian natural environment from the vertical perspective of altitude, from the Pacific coast through the Amazon to the Andes. The menu proposes a unique encounter between diverse ecosystems and the seasons of Japan. The soundscapes created by composer Maribel Tafur translated the magic, uniqueness and mysteries of the landscapes and altitudes that inspired the culinary concept.
